In the book, Six Glorious Epochs of Indian History, Savarkar mentions Akhand Bharat as a place where there are no internal divisions (referring to caste), and the land is free from foreign invaders. Once internal divisions are removed, then the territories lost to the partition would be regained. In summary, this version of Akhand Bharat refers to the present-day countries of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.

There is a third mention in the book: Hindu Rashtra Darshan, but that mention is regarded as a minor one.
